College Development Programs at MGM Resorts

Hospitality Internship Program (HIP)
Spend the summer working on impactful projects and developing new skills in your area of interest with a global leader in the entertainment industry.  Opportunities are available in operations, corporate entities, and technical departments. Internships are often the gateway to a career with MGM Resorts International.  Many interns have advanced their careers through full-time placement or participation in the Management Associate Program.

Program Length: 10 Weeks - this year's cohort will be from June 6, 2022 to August 12, 2022.
Audience:  Juniors and Seniors seeking industry work experience.
Learning:  Structured curriculum that includes customized learning specific to your area of concentration.  MGM Discovery Workshop, designed to make you aware of future career paths.  Resort knowledge days that include resort tours and discussion panels with property executives.
Career Path:  Continue your learning after graduation with our Management Associate Program or direct placement into a supervisory role
Management Associate Program
Management Associate Program (MAP)
Join our nine-month, leadership development program and build your career with a global leader in the entertainment industry!  In this program, you will receive ongoing coaching from your advisor, network with company leaders and develop your skills in your selected area of interest.

Program Length: 9 months - this year's cohort will be from July 5, 2022 to April 28, 2023.





Audience:  College graduates seeking the best leadership training in the business
Learning: This program is designed to prepare you for a management role in your desired area of focus.  Learning includes rotations through the operation to gain an understanding of the business; division leader series to explore the functionality of our operations; participation in diversity and inclusion and company sustainability activities. You will also be provided with ongoing coaching and formal feedback.
Career Path:  The Management Associate Program is designed to get you ready for a successful leadership career with MGM Resorts International.  Past participants include senior members of our leadership team.





Culinary Image
Culinary Associate Program (CAP)
The Culinary Associate Program (CAP) is an exciting opportunity to expand your culinary skillset in a variety of challenging kitchen environments.

Program Length: 9 Months - this year's cohort will be from July 5, 2022 to April 28, 2023.
Audience:  Recent graduates from culinary programs and experienced culinarians seeking the best culinary training in the business
Learning: This program is designed to prepare you for an entry-level management role in your desired area of focus.  Learning includes rotations through the operation to gain an understanding of the business; division leader series to explore the inner works of our operations; participation in diversity and inclusion and company sustainability activities as well as ongoing coaching and formal feedback.
Career Path:  The Culinary Associate Program is designed to get you ready for a successful leadership career within our culinary area.  Past participants include senior members of our culinary leadership team.
Career Progression
My career with MGM Resorts International is great and I always feel very supported.  I have grown with the company, from Ticket Office Representative to Hotel Operations Intern and now as a graduate of the Management Associate Program.  I apply experience and knowledge in my new role to deliver memorable experiences for employees as a Workforce Management Supervisor at Park MGM.
