THE JOB:
The Poker Cashier is responsible for handling monetary transactions, chip exchanges, and account services for guests and staff in a high-volume poker environment. This role ensures accuracy, security, and compliance with regulatory guidelines while delivering excellent customer service.
THE STARTING RATE: $18.00 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Process chip sales and redemptions for patrons, poker runners, and floor personnel.
Maintain transaction accuracy through proper documentation, log completion, and balancing the bank at shift end.
Operate efficiently in a fast-paced setting while using sound judgment and multitasking skills.
Assist guests by providing general information and customer support.
Manage poker safety deposit boxes, including issuance, surrender, and access.
Open patron accounts in accordance with Title 31 regulations and support tournament buy-ins and participation tracking.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
6+ months of prior relevant experience as a casino cage cashier
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
