THE JOB:
As a Sales Experience Manager, you will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of site inspections and special events to secure future group business. This role involves collaborating with sales teams and clients to create engaging experiences that showcase the unique offerings of the company, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of services while adhering to budgets.


THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Strategically plan and execute site inspections for Sales Managers & Directors securing group business, creating site agendas, communicating with clients and departments, and serving as on-site contact while maintaining budget.
  • Manage planning process and operate on-site familiarization trips by collaborating with internal departments and external vendors, highlighting key benefits of MGM Resorts while adhering to budget.
  • Manage department travel budget and organize offsite client events, securing venues, negotiating contracts, providing creative input on gifting and décor, while properly representing MGM Resorts.
  • Provide strategic input and collaborate with Corporate Sales COE on sales initiatives, including events, familiarization trips, tradeshows, and GSO-hosted client incentive trips.
  • Participate in research, development, and implementation of new products, services, technology, and processes to maintain MGM Resorts' competitive position and meet changing customer needs.
  • Provide creative input and direction for sales presentations, site guides, sales videos, and marketing materials ensuring proper representation of assigned property.
  • Manage gift inventory and processes, including sourcing client gifts, inventory management, and donation of excess items, while maintaining the department's gifting budget


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Previous sales or event planning experience working in a similar hotel/resort setting
