THE JOB:
As an Income Control Clerk, you will ensure all gaming-related documents are accurately scanned, indexed, and organized in the system for audit and accounting purposes. You’ll work with sensitive materials, and it’s essential to maintain confidentiality while delivering excellent service to internal customers and guests. You'll be part of a dynamic team and have the chance to work alongside professionals in the gaming industry, supporting compliance, reporting, and operational processes. This is a hands-on role with opportunities to build valuable experience in accounting, auditing, and compliance procedures in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Performs the scan process to ensure the successful day-to-day operation of each Gaming Compliance, Audit and Accounting process for all gaming operations
Sorts and prepares documents for scanning by removing staples, paperclips and rubber bands and unfolding, straightening and combining forms as needed.
Indexes each employee record document in the Perceptive scanning system, which includes, but is not limited to: verify that images are correct, legible and accounted for
Responsible for organization and filing of documents to be scanned
Promote, develop and maintain effective communication, interaction, and excellent relationship with internal customers, including ensuring their requirements are identified and consistently met
Perform retained tasks as defined by Management, including but not limited to, Meter Reading, maintenance of keys, Iron Mountain and other duties as assigned to ensure effective reporting, operations and compliance with gaming regulations
To promote an effective relationship between the department, the business unit, other corporate departments and to ensure effective operational processes
Promotes and maintains a professional, friendly, prompt, accurate, and courteous atmosphere while providing the highest level of service to all guests by exhibiting S.H.O.W. Service Basic Standards, including smiling, greeting, and making eye contact, while staying alert to their needs.
Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management. Notifies supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
Performs other job-related duties as assigned
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain proper licensure in accordance with New York State Gaming Commission requirements
Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Is proficient in Microsoft Office
Has prior relevant administrative finance experience

Pay Rate:
The starting rate for this role is:
$18.36Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
