THE JOB:
At The Cosmopolitan, the magic doesn’t happen by chance, it’s powered by exceptional operations behind the scenes. We’re looking for a Facilities Manager who brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for excellence to oversee building operations and engineering teams. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Directly oversee all engineering operations and maintenance staff, including scheduling, setting priorities and goals, hiring, training, performance feedback, promotions, and employee engagement
- Ensure all facilities and engineering activities comply with local, state, and federal health, safety, and building codes, while maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Manage and oversee preventative maintenance programs, including scheduled maintenance, cleaning, and repair or replacement of equipment
- Monitor utility usage and costs, maintaining required logs and ensuring efficient consumption
- Manage inventory levels and oversee purchasing of parts, tools, equipment, and machinery in accordance with property standards
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of prior relevant experience as a manager or related technical education and/or experience
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
