Recruitment Fraud

Recruitment fraud involves the offer of fictitious job opportunities. This kind of fraud is communicated through unsolicited emails, online recruitment services (sometimes even legitimate platforms such as LinkedIn), fake websites and even text messages claiming to be from, for example, MGM Resorts International or an MGM branded property. The goal of the communication is typically to obtain personal information or money. Recruitment scams may involve offering fictitious job opportunities and requesting personal information and payments to process false applications.

You should be suspicious of unsolicited offers of employment from people claiming to work for, or be affiliated with, MGM Resorts International (or any other business or job opportunity). If you believe you have received a fraudulent recruitment communication from MGM, feel free to reach out to us and consider contacting your local police.

What can you do?

You can report a suspicious job ad, email or other communication related to MGM Resorts International, by contacting MGM's Talent Acquisition team at [email protected].  Our team will be able to confirm any actual MGM positions or applications with the company.

RED FLAGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE RESPONDING TO REQUESTS:

  • Responding to unsolicited business propositions and/or offers of employment from people with whom you are unfamiliar.
  • Disclosing your personal or financial details to anyone you do not know.
  • Responding to requests for money, MGM Resorts International does not ask for money transfers or payments from applicants to secure an application, interview or a job, either as an employee or as a contractor.
  • Engaging in further communication if you believe the communications may be fraudulent.
