THE JOB:

As a Food and Beverage Assistant Floor Manager, you will supervise the daily operations and play a vital role in our department’s daily operations! With your warm smile and commitment to exceptional service, you’ll set the stage for our guests to create WOW memories that last a lifetime. Your ability to connect with guests and understand their unique stories will transform ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Review daily schedules and manage time off and vacation requests; coach and train on policies, procedures, and performance

  • Supervise cashiers to ensure correct policies and procedures for check handling and closing are maintained by service staff as well as manage activities; means of access and egress, to ensure complete compliance with Health Department and Fire Marshall Regulations

  • Directly communicate with the Chef on all food service and menu issues

  • Assist in seasonal menu changes and holiday menu changes

  • Order supplies through the IP System and Purchasing

  • Exercise cost controls for all aspects of restaurant operation

  • Manage pricing and maintenance issues to ensure checks can be processed correctly

  • Direct communication with guests for special requests and large party reservations

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain proper licensure are required by the New York State Gaming Commission

  • Has a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

  • Has the availability to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays

  • Possesses a minimum of two years prior relevant service leadership experience in a similar dining environment

Pay Range:

The pay range for this role is:

$56,000.00 - $98,000.00

This range represents a good faith estimate of the salary range that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
