THE JOB:

The Housekeeping Scheduling Clerk plays a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Housekeeping Department, while maintaining a strong commitment to service excellence for both internal and external customers. This position supports departmental operations by managing all incoming calls, monitor guest rooms status, accurately receiving requests, and promptly dispatching them to the appropriate team members to ensure timely response and resolution.

THE STARTING RATE: $17.50

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Ensure department personnel are scheduled appropriately and in accordance with demands, as well as any special projects

  • Post schedules on daily basis

  • Manage all incoming calls by accurately receiving and documenting requests, and promptly dispatching them to the appropriate services, team members, and/or supervisors to ensure timely response, effective coordination, and efficient resolution​

  • Assist the management team with shift change activities, including the transfer of all service paperwork and the collection and distribution of keys and radios to and from team members

  • Monitors real-time guest room status to support fast and accurate room readiness, helping to enhance the overall guest experience

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Clear and professional verbal communication

  • Attention to details and excellent listening skills

  • Ability to manage multiple phone lines and requests simultaneously

  • Available to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

  • Must have a High School Diploma or GED

  • Must have at least one year of work experience in the hospitality/housekeeping industry or closely related field
