THE JOB:
The Manager of Slot Strategy supports the standardization and execution of slot operations and technical procedures across the enterprise, in alignment with direction set by Slot COE leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance across all jurisdictions and supporting property slot leaders in the implementation of operational best practices. The Manager of Slot Strategy partners cross functionally with departments including Compliance, Finance, IT, and Labor Relations, while maintaining current knowledge of vendor products and competitor technology innovations.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Support the development, standardization, and implementation of companywide Slot Operations and Slot Technical procedures and policies.
- Create slot machine game setups based on manufacturer par sheets and Slot COE guidelines. Ensure all machine accounting information is accurate and aligned with company slot standards.
- Maintain knowledge of and compliance with gaming regulations across all jurisdictions where MGMRI operates.
- Support specialized slot projects, including the evaluation and implementation of technology solutions designed to improve slot department efficiencies.
- Collaborate with various departments including Labor Relations, IT, Compliance, Finance, and others as needed to support effective slot operations and execution of approved strategies.
- Provide operational support to property Slot Vice Presidents, Slot Directors, Slot Managers, and Slot Technical Managers to ensure clear communication and consistent execution across properties.
- Remain current on vendor product lines and competitor technology innovations. Maintain relationships with slot vendors and provide regular updates to Slot COE leadership on vendor insights, issues, and concerns.
- Support COE Slot Directors on key initiatives including labor efficiencies, guest service standards, and operational best practices.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
In-depth understanding of slot operations and processes
Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience in slot department or as a slot vendor - Preferred
Prior experience as a Slot Operations Manager or Performance Manager in a high-volume integrated casino resort - Preferred
Experience developing and implementing company-wide initiatives - Preferred
