THE JOB:
As a Houseperson, you will support Guestroom Attendants by maintaining clean, organized, and well-stocked areas to ensure a comfortable environment for both guests and team members. You will assist with delivering guest requests, managing supplies and linens, and upholding cleanliness standards across public and back-of-house spaces. Through attention to detail and efficiency, you will play a key role in creating a seamless and positive guest experience.
STARTING RATE: $24.6289 an hour
THE DAY TO DAY:
Ensure assigned areas are clean and neat.
Constantly clean ash urns; clean and dust lamps, mirrors, pictures, etc.; mop and clean all marble or tile floors in assigned areas.
Deliver requested items, such as refrigerators, pillows, rollaways, cribs, etc., to guest rooms.
Empty all trash and linen from the Guest Room Attendants’ carts as needed.
Maintain inventory levels, deliver supplies to assigned lockers, and restock them.
Follow Quick Flood Response procedures, safety procedures, general cleaning, pull room procedures, and quarterly mattress-flipping procedures.
Clean restrooms in assigned areas; vacuum all halls, lobbies, and edges; clean all hall railings, marks on wallpaper, stairwells, and lockers.
Regularly check in with managers, pick up keys, inspect housekeeper carts, and check hallways, pool rooms, and guest deliveries.
Drop off linens and assist with room clean-ups when necessary.
Ensure trash is cleaned and disposed of properly.
Preform other job-related duties as requested.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Understanding and knowledge of safety procedures and protocol preferred
Bilingual proficiency preferred, with the ability to communicate effectively in both English
