THE JOB:
Join the heartbeat of our beverage operations as a Bar Porter at New York‑New York. From stocking and setup to supporting the bar team, you’ll be essential to keeping our dynamic outlets running smoothly and our guests coming back for more.
THE STARTING RATE: $24.7819 hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets; maintain assigned inventory levels, including delivery and stocking of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items.
Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas, including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep cleaning, sanitation, and work areas, to include cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors.
Complete required paperwork, including bar transfers and dry-stock deliveries.
Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in cooler and dry storage areas; order as needed.
Responsible for set-up and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas.
Ensure use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets.
Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses; identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary.
Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer matters to management. Notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
21 years of age or older required.
6+ months of prior bar porter, bar back, or food & beverage support experience preferred.
Experience working in a resort or high‑volume hospitality setting preferred.
