THE JOB:
As a Busperson for La Pizza & La Pasta at Park MGM, you will support a lively, high‑energy dining experience by maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of the entire restaurant to ensure smooth and efficient service. You will uphold established standards by keeping the dining room, storerooms, food pick‑up areas, and beverage stations fully stocked, clean, and well‑organized, contributing to a seamless flow between the kitchen and front‑of‑house. By working closely with the service team and anticipating operational needs, you will help create a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere that enhances the guest experience and reflects the authentic, social spirit of La Pizza & La Pasta.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.7697 Hourly + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Work with servers to ensure proper guest service
Polish flatware, set up tables with appropriate silverware, glassware, linen, condiments, and accessories, fold napkins properly and ensure ashtrays are clean and available on tables in designated smoking areas
Clear, clean, and sanitize booth/chair cushions and tables completely, and reset with clean linens, ashtrays, votive candles, glassware, and any additional tabletop items needed
Remove dirty dishes, debris, and linens from table and bring to the kitchen for proper washing and disposing of trash in designated receptacles
Coordinate table availability and constantly communicates with Server, Hostess, and Management to ensure tables are turned efficiently
Serve water, coffee, and soft drinks, refilling when needed
Ensure that dining room floors are clean and free of debris
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Must be 21 years of age or older
1+ Years of prior relevant experience as a Busperson or Food Runner preferred
