THE JOB:
As a Gourmet Food Server for Carbone Riviera at Bellagio, you will deliver a refined, coastal‑inspired fine dining experience by expertly guiding guests through the menu, taking and serving orders with precision, and ensuring every detail reflects the restaurant’s elevated Italian Riviera concept. You will provide attentive, personalized service by maintaining impeccable table presentation, anticipating guest needs, and seamlessly managing the dining experience from order to final check. By performing side work, maintaining cleanliness of your assigned stations, and collaborating closely with your team, you will uphold the highest standards of excellence and contribute to memorable, sophisticated dining moments that embody the elegance and vibrant spirit of Carbone Riviera at Bellagio.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.5047 Hourly + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
Knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guest and or employees
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Must be 21 years of age or older
Five (5) years of Food and Beverage experience in a high-paced environment with food service experience preferred
Previous experience as a Food Server in a Luxury, Fine Dining, or similar restaurant environment preferred
