THE JOB:
As a Gourmet Food Runner for Yellowtail at Bellagio, you will deliver an elevated dining experience by ensuring the precise and timely presentation of dishes in a sleek, modern Japanese dining environment known for its innovative cuisine and vibrant energy. You will support exceptional service by delivering orders accurately, maintaining table readiness, and assisting the service team in exceeding guest expectations with seamless coordination and attention to detail. By performing side work, maintaining cleanliness, and collaborating closely with your team, you will help create a polished, high‑energy atmosphere that enhances the overall guest experience and reflects the contemporary sophistication of Yellowtail at Bellagio.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.5047 hourly + tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections
Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation
Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach
Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries
Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
Must be 18 years of age or older
4+ years of prior relevant experience as a Food Runner in a similar Luxury, Fine Dining, or Gourmet restaurant preferred
