THE JOB:
As a Repair Shop Technician at Beau Rivage, you will play a critical role in maintaining and repairing the mechanical equipment and systems that keep our property operating smoothly behind the scenes. This position is heavily focused on mechanical repair, troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and equipment reliability across a wide range of heavy equipment.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.62 an hour
THE SCHEDULE:
- Swing Shift | Full Time
- 3:00pm – 11:00pm
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Perform routine to advanced maintenance and mechanical repair work on facility equipment and systems throughout the property
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge
- Maintain knowledge of equipment locations and facility systems to support operational efficiency
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to complete assigned repairs and maintenance tasks
- Utilize amp meters, voltmeters, OHM meters, pressure gauges, and related diagnostic equipment to identify system issues
- Complete assigned work orders accurately and maintain detailed maintenance logbooks
- Report unusual equipment conditions or operational concerns to leadership promptly
- Maintain strong safety standards, cleanliness, and accident prevention awareness while properly utilizing personal protective equipment
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Exhibits 2+ years of prior relevant experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
- Is comfortable working hands-on with tools, machinery, and diagnostic equipment
- Demonstrates flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
