THE JOB:
As a Bar Porter at ARIA Pool, you will play an essential role in creating an exciting and seamless guest experience in one of Las Vegas’ premier pool destinations. In this fast paced, high energy environment, you will support the bar team by keeping operations running smoothly through stocking supplies, maintaining clean and organized work areas, and assisting bartenders during peak service. Your teamwork, attention to detail, and positive attitude will help create an atmosphere guests will remember long after their day at the pool.
THE STARTING RATE: $24.7819 hr
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintain assigned levels of inventory, including delivery and stock of glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items
Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas including all related assigned bar equipment, tools, supplies, trash removal, deep
cleaning, sanitation, and work area, including cleaning refrigerators, countertops, and mopping floors
Complete required paperwork including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries
Maintain pars of liquor, beer, and supplies in the cooler and dry storage area, ordering as needed responsible for set-up and breakdown of portable bars in designated areas
Ensure the use of correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets
Organize and maintain beverage pump room areas, including pump room products, storage rooms, and warehouses, and identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary
Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify the Supervisor or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
1+ year of prior relevant experience as a bar porter in a pool or similar resort environment
