THE JOB:

The Procurement Customer Service Specialist will support Global Procurement, MGM Resorts International corporate departments, and all domestic properties across the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) lifecycle. This role is responsible for managing and facilitating all customer service–related functions, including procurement systems training, invoice resolution, end-user and supplier communications, and cross-departmental collaboration.

The Specialist will serve as a subject matter expert within Global Procurement and act as a liaison across all GP functions. Success in this role requires strong, thoughtful communication skills, as well as the ability to contribute to process improvement and technical development initiatives. All responsibilities must be performed in accordance with departmental and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE: $20.00/hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Assist with internal and external inquiries related to procurement system navigation, issues with purchasing goods and/or services, inquiries of Corporate Programs, and all other Procurement processes.

  • Provide all end user and supplier training on Procurement systems; Coupa, Stratton Warren and Oracle, assist System Admins with Procurement testing and education on our Global Procurement Policies, including our No PO No Pay process.

  • Manage the vendor deactivation of existing suppliers in collaboration with the Vendor Desk AP team and the System Admin team.

  • Collaborates daily with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues, credit holds, payment inquiries, and supplier onboarding.

  • Collaborates with Procurement Operations, Strategic Sourcing and Purchasing Operations to efficient use of our Procurement systems and delivers all communication from our internal departments to MGMRI end users, e.g., program updates, system outages, GP memos, training documents, etc.

  • Communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders daily, ensuring customer satisfaction, providing professional customer support and feedback to ensure efficiency of the customer service process.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

  • 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience - Preferred

  • Working knowledge of financial and Procurement systems - Preferred

  • Previous experience working in a similar resort setting - Preferred
