THE JOB:
As a Floral Laborer for Corporate the primary purpose of this role is to bring energy and excellence to every corner of the property—supporting operations, setting up unforgettable events, and delivering beautiful floral arrangements to MGM Resorts, VIPs, and special occasions. This fast-moving, hands-on role blends technical skill with elevated guest service, making every day dynamic and impactful. As a Laborer, you’ll keep things running seamlessly by staying organized, operating equipment safely, and jumping in wherever needed. It’s a high-energy opportunity for someone who thrives on variety, takes pride in their work, and loves being part of creating standout guest experiences!
THE STARTING RATE: $18.18 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Support daily operations of the floral department across all MGM Resorts properties, ensuring efficient handling, care, and distribution of floral products
Receive and inspect incoming floral deliveries for quality and accuracy; properly store and rotate inventory to maintain freshness and reduce waste
Maintain a clean, organized floral cooler and assist with processing and restocking shop inventory
Accurately log and track all floral deliveries prior to distribution to ensure accountability and order accuracy
Deliver and pick up floral arrangements across MGM properties, residential locations, and warehouses, ensuring timely and professional service
Safely operate refrigerated trucks, high-profile vehicles, and vans while securing arrangements to prevent damage during transport
Assist floral designers and leads with shop organization, cleaning, and operational tasks to improve efficiency
Support weddings, special events, seasonal installations, and large-scale floral change-outs, including setup and breakdown
Pick up parts, supplies, and materials from vendors and maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
Complete assigned tasks from Dispatch or management while maintaining accurate logs and records
Operate and maintain power equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and Skyjacks; fuel and service engineering vehicles as needed
Work independently with minimal supervision, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines
Stay current on operational techniques and report unusual conditions to leadership
Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and accident prevention, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall operations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
21 years of age or older
Has a valid Nevada Driver's license
Comfortable operating large vehicles while ensuring the safe transport and integrity of floral arrangements
