THE JOB:

As a Cook Garde Manger, you will play a key role in creating visually stunning and flavorful cold preparations that elevate the guest dining experience. From fresh salads and fruit displays to specialty cold appetizers and garnishes, your attention to detail, creativity, and precision will help bring our culinary vision to life.

This position is ideal for a culinary professional who enjoys working with fresh ingredients, has strong knife skills, and takes pride in presentation. Every plate you prepare will contribute to the memorable dining experiences Beau Rivage guests have come to expect.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.56 an hour

THE SCHEDULE:

  • Day Shift | 8:00am - 4:00pm
  • Must be open and flexible to work outside of the primary schedule, including varied shifts, weekends and holidays based on the business needs

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Prepare and present a variety of cold food items including salads, fruit displays, cold appetizers, and garnishes
  • Utilize advanced knife skills to efficiently cut, slice, portion, and prepare ingredients
  • Operate kitchen equipment including slicers, food processors, lettuce spinners, and other food production machinery
  • Ensure all products meet established recipe, quality, and presentation standards
  • Create attractive fruit displays and decorative presentations for buffets, banquets, and outlets
  • Maintain proper stocking and organization of assigned workstations
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards
  • Monitor product quality, freshness, and inventory levels
  • Work collaboratively with chefs and culinary team members to support service and production needs

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Brings experience in a Garde Manger, deli, pantry, prep, banquet, or high-volume culinary environment
  • Possesses strong knife skills and attention to detail
  • Is comfortable operating slicers, food processors, and other food production equipment
  • Demonstrates experience creating decorative fruit displays and cold food presentations
  • Brings sushi preparation experience as a plus, though not required
