THE JOB:

The Pool Operations Manager at Aria is responsible for managing the daily operations of all aspects of the pool and pool operations while meeting the demands and expectations of a Forbes Five-Star hotel. All duties are to be performed in accordance with department and property policies, practices, and procedures.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Manage all aspects of daily pool operations, including staffing, labor management, inventory control, facility operations, vendor coordination, VIP and convention event execution, and ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective operations.

  • Deliver exceptional guest experiences by upholding Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond service standards, resolving guest concerns, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and supporting initiatives that drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth.

  • Oversee operational performance through budgeting, reporting, reservation systems, pricing strategies, maintenance coordination, sustainability efforts, and continuous process improvements to achieve departmental and financial objectives.

  • Lead and develop the pool team through hiring, coaching, training, performance management, succession planning, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment.

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, health and safety regulations, pool safety programs, and operational standards while supporting the Director of Pool Operations in executing strategic initiatives and departmental goals.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in a luxury pool, recreation, spa, or similar environment

  • Experience managing large teams of employees
