THE JOB:
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Monitor proper procedures for of all deliveries, department personnel, including clock in and out, schedule changes and time off requests
- Create credit purchase requisitions to return products to vendors and dispose of spoiled products and inspect product expiration dates
- Ensure par levels are maintained at proper levels
- Fill requisitions as needed, input product location changes, and issue purchase requisitions
- Keep equipment maintained and in proper working condition
- Ensure all products are issued in a timely order
- Process returns to warehouse
- Operate forklift and similar equipment to move warehouse supplies
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years or older
High school diploma or GED required
Must possess a valid driver's license
2+ years of warehouse experience required
5+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience preferred
Experience with inventory and purchasing systems preferred
Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
