THE JOB:
Handle the action where it happens! As a Cage Cashier at MGM National Harbor, you’ll be at the center of the excitement—managing fast-paced transactions, supporting our guests, and keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes of a world-class casino.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Process cash transactions, including cash advances, check cashing, and TITO (ticket in/ticket out) redemptions
- Support both guest-facing and internal transactions, including employee bank operations
- Accurately record and document all financial transactions in company systems
- Balance your bank/till at the end of each shift and maintain detailed transaction logs
- Ensure strict compliance with internal controls, gaming regulations, and security procedures
- Provide friendly, efficient service while assisting guests with general inquiries
- Operate cash handling equipment such as currency counters and 10-key machines
- Maintain accountability for company assets and uphold financial integrity at all times
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be 18 years or older
- 6+ months of customer service or cash-handling experience (casino cage experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Solid math skills and ability to balance a bank independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Basic computer proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Flexible to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$19.88
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
