THE JOB:
As a Casino Shop Engineer at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, you will help keep one of the Gulf Coast's premier resort destinations operating at its best. From maintaining lighting across the property to supporting preventative maintenance and repairs on critical building systems, you'll play an essential role in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members. Working alongside a skilled Engineering team, you will tackle a variety of hands-on projects that keep our resort running seamlessly behind the scenes.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.62 an hour
THE SCHEDULE:
Swing Shift | Full Time
3:00pm - 11:00pm
Must be open and flexible to work outside of the primary schedule, including weekends and holidays based on the business needs
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Maintain lighting systems throughout the property to ensure a safe, functional, and inviting environment
- Assist with pool maintenance and equipment upkeep
- Support table games table moves, installations, and layout changes as needed
- Complete assigned work orders, perform daily property inspections, and make necessary repairs
- Assist the Maintenance Engineering team with the maintenance and repair of boilers, compressors, refrigeration equipment, generators, and other mechanical systems
- Support the operation and maintenance of equipment powered by steam, electricity, gas, air, diesel, and water
- Troubleshoot maintenance issues and perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following company safety standards
- Respond to maintenance requests promptly to support uninterrupted resort operations
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Obtains a Mississippi Gaming Permit as required
- Holds a High School Diploma or GED
- Brings experience in facility maintenance, engineering, or a related skilled trade; resort or hospitality experience is preferred
- Maintains flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
