THE JOB:
The Workforce Management Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Workforce Management department at Park MGM. This includes monitoring and assessing staffing levels, business volume efficiency, and customer satisfaction across all areas of the property. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Implement departmental policies and procedures in Workforce Management as directed by the Workforce Management Director
Contribute to the strategic planning process, ensuring alignment with the division's vision and goals
Provide input and leadership in the development and monitoring of business plans, fiscal budgets, and departmental operations to drive both short-term and long-term profitability
Oversee Human Resources functions for the assigned department, including hiring, training, coaching, and fostering a work environment that encourages teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction
Establish and implement departmental goals related to FTEs, vacation quotas, and scheduling for the entire property
Generate special reports in collaboration with senior management and audit Virtual Roster/Kronos for cost-saving opportunities
Develop and standardize processes and policies across all departments
Analyze staffing data from department and finance teams, offering recommendations to senior management
Adjust staffing levels based on special events, large party reservations, and table games/slot tournaments, while ensuring compliance with collective bargaining agreements and scheduling standards
Ensure timely creation and delivery of schedules, meeting the Director/Manager's standards and business unit expectations
Collaborate with department heads to adjust staffing models and approve schedule changes independently when necessary
Provide ongoing guidance and advice to business units regarding scheduling, labor management, and leave management
Act as the Director in their absence and perform related job duties as needed
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in IT/MIS, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Business Administration (preferred)
Two (2) years of previous Workforce Management experience in a similar resort setting
Previous Leadership experience
Strong collaboration, relationship management and customer service skills
Highly detailed orientated with a strong understanding of process improvement
Well-rounded knowledge of collective bargaining agreements
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Has a demonstrated ability to use MS Excel with advanced skill
Ability to multiātask and prioritize under pressure of deadlines
Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and verbal forms
Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends and all holidays
