THE JOB:
Ready to paint our resort in vibrant living color? As an Exterior Gardener at MGM National Harbor, you are the visual artist of our property, turning our outdoor landscapes into a lush, breathtaking paradise for our guests. If you love working outdoors, getting your hands dirty, and taking pride in creating beautiful, photo-ready spaces, this is your perfect playground!
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Beautify the Property: Plant, transplant, fertilize, prune, and weed flower beds, annuals, turf, trees, and shrubs using proper horticultural practices.
Nurture and Cultivate: Monitor plant health by checking soil moisture, fertilizer needs, and overall appearance to keep our greenery thriving.
Sculpt the Landscape: Masterfully use a variety of hand tools and equipment—from pruning shears and loppers to fertilizer spreaders and sod knives.
Manage the Elements: Implement smart pest management and oversee efficient irrigation and watering techniques using sprinklers and hoses.
Keep it Safe & Premier: Proactively inspect outdoor work areas to identify safety hazards and ensure our resort grounds always meet five-star appearance standards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
At least 18 years of age
Has a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$21.26
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
