THE JOB:

The Graphic Designer is responsible for a variety of duties, including designing newsletters, articles, posters, and brochures, filming and editing, and other support services. The candidate will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, the Designer will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $24.00

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Plan, design and create complex campaigns and high profile jobs from concept to completion; work with Creative management to ensure that designs meet corporate and client expectations, are within property budgets and deadlines are met

  • Assist Creative management with flow of daily workload and resolution of design, timeline or production issues

  • Provide creative supervision to Designers and Artists; anticipate and solve creative problems

  • Assure that property’s design needs are met and that property brand standards are maintained

  • Communicate project status, timelines, and delivery information to clients and internal teams

  • Interface with internal departments, clients and vendors to resolve issues

  • Train and educate employees on design techniques and print capabilities

  • Stay current in design trends and styles in various media

  • Generate high quality comps for presentation or review

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • 2+ Years in design in an agency, in-house, freelance, or prior relevant experince

  • Proficient in Photoshop

  • An understanding of composition, layout, color theory, and typography

  • Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts

Pay Rate:

The rate for this role is:

$24.00

This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.

Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.

Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.

Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
