THE JOB:

As a Public Relations Coordinator, you will provide administrative, communications, and media relations support for MGM Resorts’ Entertainment and Sports portfolio. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining press materials, media databases, online press rooms, photo and video libraries, and tracking media coverage across Las Vegas properties. You will assist with media outreach, credential requests, interviews, tours, filming, photo shoots, and special media programs while coordinating logistics for headline residencies, championship sporting events, venue openings, and other high-profile experiences. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, talent representatives, event producers, and journalists, the position helps ensure seamless event execution and drives meaningful media coverage that strengthens MGM Resorts’ reputation as a global leader in entertainment and sports.

THE STARTING RATE:

  • $21.10 per hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Write, maintain, and update press kit materials

  • Maintain and update online photo library, video library and press rooms for all Las Vegas properties

  • Assist with distribution of press materials to media; tracks and maintains media coverage; distribute coverage to properties; update media database and additional contact lists; and help qualify and fulfill media requests, which can include tours, basic film shoots, facilitation of interviews, etc.

  • Update and maintain media lists across all media niches

  • Develop schedules and property facilitation for media programs to include familiarization trips, filming, photo shoot and media tours

  • Assist with photo shoots, interviews, film shoots and radio remotes upon completion of shadowing period, some of which might require overnight hours

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Must have a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • At least one (1) year of prior relevant experience in a related position, or equivalent education and experience

  • Prior experience or completed an internship in Public Relations or Media field
