THE JOB:

It is the primary responsibility of the Stewarding Office Manager at The Cosmopolitan to provide high-level administrative support, including planning and scheduling meetings and appointments, organizing and maintaining both paper and electronic files, managing special projects, conducting research, and gathering information through telephone, mail services, websites, and email. All duties are performed in accordance with department guest service standards and MGM Resorts International policies, practices, and procedures.

THE STARTING RATE: $24.75 hourly

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Provide effective and comprehensive support to the department head

  • Demonstrate proper phone etiquette, strong interpersonal and communication skills; provide general office support to all team members on an as-needed basis and perform related duties as required

  • Prepare and type documents, including correspondence, presentations, forms, reports, and other materials

  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and conference calls

  • Organize international and domestic travel, including air and hotel reservations, passport and visa applications; handle situations requiring independent judgment, relieving the Executive of extraneous matters

  • Screen incoming calls and either assist callers when appropriate or forward calls to the appropriate parties; maintain confidential files and uphold the integrity of all information

  • Manage and prioritize a high volume of emails, including archiving and retrieval

  • Reconcile expenses and submit reimbursable items for processing

  • Update and maintain the Executive’s business associate contact information

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 2+ Years of prior relevant experience of executive assistant or administrative experience

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
