THE JOB:
As the Count Team Manager, you will lead the daily operations of the Count Team by overseeing count room activities, ensuring compliance with gaming regulations and internal controls, driving operational efficiencies, and developing a team focused on accuracy, accountability, and exceptional performance.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Provide leadership and direction to the Count Team, driving departmental performance and operational excellence
Oversee all count and drop activities while ensuring compliance with Gaming Commission regulations, internal controls, and departmental and property policies and procedures
Develops and fosters an environment of teamwork and interdepartmental cooperation
Manage departmental staffing, labor, and financial performance, including scheduling, labor utilization, and P&L accountability
Monitor staffing levels and ensure effective use of labor while delivering required service. Manage P&L statements
Lead talent management and human resource functions, including hiring, talent development, performance management, and succession planning
Generate, verify, and distribute count-related reports to Accounting, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all reporting data
Develop and maintain departmental training materials to support onboarding, operational consistency, and ongoing team development
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
2+ years of prior relevant experience in a related field required
Prior leadership experience in a casino Count Team environment
