THE JOB:
As a Gourmet Food Runner for Lago at Bellagio, you will be responsible for providing excellent service throughout the dining experience by flawlessly delivering culinary creations, maintaining immaculate tables, and consistently exceeding guest satisfaction. Working in seamless coordination with the service team at this premier fountain-side destination, you will also perform essential side duties and general cleaning to uphold our world-class hospitality standards, ensuring every guest creates lasting WOW memories while enjoying the spectacular views and vibrant atmosphere of our acclaimed restaurant.
THE STARTING RATE: $14.5047 Hourly + Tips
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Welcome guests with a warm and relevant greeting, utilize your knowledge of menu, guest preference, service and selling techniques to guide selections
Knowledgeable of all menu items, prices, preparation method and time, major ingredients and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish and method of presentation
Be familiar with all hotel services, features and local attractions and activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately
Maintain table cleanliness and utilize a silent service approach
Itemize bill correctly and efficiently secure payment
Anticipate the guests’ needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
Work as a team, assist guest and employee needs and inquiries
Successful completion of Restaurant Training Program and testing is required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be 21 years of age or older
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays required
4+ Years of prior relevant experience working in a similar Fine Dining, Upscale, Luxury, or Gourmet restaurant preferred
