THE JOB:
As an MGMAir Operations Coordinator, you will play a key role in creating seamless travel experiences for our MGMAir guests from the moment their trip is booked through their arrival and departure. You will coordinate flight and hotel reservations, manage important travel details, and work closely with teams across the property and external partners to ensure every detail is handled with care.
THE STARTING RATE: $19.27 an hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Process and confirm flight, hotel, and special request reservations submitted by Junket Representatives and branch offices
- Prepare tour rooming lists, flight seating assignments, and manifests using Microsoft Excel
- Create and organize welcome packets and assist with greeting arriving and departing groups
- Monitor and update the MGMAir hotline as needed
- Partner with internal teams including Front Desk, Group Desk, Front Services, VIP, Player Development, and Customer Care to coordinate seamless guest experiences
- Coordinate with external partners including airlines, ground transportation providers, and ground handling services
- Assist guests with travel-related questions, requests, and service recovery needs, including flight issues and lost or damaged luggage
- Use systems including Patron, Opera, VIPR, Microsoft Office, Excel, and MGM Flight Manager to manage reservations, travel details, and guest information
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and guests to resolve issues and keep travel plans on track
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple requests and changing priorities
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Brings 3+ years of directly related experience or equivalent education
- Possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Has fundamental experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Maintains professionalism and composure when handling unexpected travel challenges
- Holds a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Demonstrates flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
