THE JOB:
As a Cashier Host for Wicked Spoon inside The Cosmopolitan, you will be the first and last impression of the guest experience, setting the stage for exceptional hospitality from the moment guests arrive. In this guest-facing role, you will warmly welcome and seat guests, manage reservations and waitlists, process transactions accurately, and partner closely with the service team to ensure a seamless dining experience. Your energy, professionalism, and attention to detail will help create memorable moments while representing the venue's brand and commitment to world-class service. All duties are performed in accordance with departmental policies, practices, and procedures.
THE STARTING RATE: $23.74 Hourly
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Greet guests when they enter the outlet, determine what comps, points or awards guests have and finally complete the payment transaction through the POS system.
- Determine the size of the party and any special needs for seating, work with their team to locate and assist guests to their seating/table.
- Thank guests as they exit the buffet and assist with any final guest needs or questions.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area to include the cashier box, dining room and service stations.
- Perform other job‐related duties as requested.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Must be at least 21+ years of age
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
- Experience managing cash transactions in a high-volume environment
- Experience interacting with guests in a fast-paced hospitality setting
